Description

An exceptional and highly sought-after piece of 1920s Art Deco parlor furniture. This multi-functional floor stand features a central Uranium Glass (Vaseline Glass) fishbowl held within an ornate, cast-metal floral basket. Flanking the bowl are two integrated Torchiere-style floor lamps with flame-form custard glass shades.

The piece is a masterclass in early 20th-century eclectic design, blending Spanish Revival scrolled ironwork with Art Deco skyscraper fluting.

Key Features:

• Glows Under UV Light: Both the large central bowl and the spherical accent "onions" on the lamp shafts exhibit a strong neon-green fluorescence under blacklight, confirming the presence of uranium.

• Ornate Metalwork: Heavy cast-metal frame with a beautiful aged patina, featuring twisted iron supports, fleur-de-lis accents, and a large central floral medallion.

• Dimensions: Approximately 5.5 to 6 feet.

• Bonus Parts: Includes a "parts box" containing additional matching fluted column sections, uranium glass spheres, and square marble/onyx plinths, allowing for potential restoration or height adjustment.

Crafted with a small amount of uranium oxide, this vintage piece displays the coveted luminous glow under UV light that collectors prize. Radiation levels are extremely low and considered safe for display. Best suited as a collectible showcase piece rather than everyday tableware.
